Croatia weather is heavily influenced by the Adriatic sea. The closer to the sea the more Mediterranean the climate, mild winter and warm summer. The in land regions are more extreme with colder winters and can be described as a continental climate.
Whilst Croatia can be visited all year round true sun bathers will want to go between June and the end of August. The coldest time tend to be between January and February. Have a look at the average temperature graphs at the bottom of the page for the details.
The graph below shows the average daytime temperature by month for Croatia. as you can see there are no surprises here as the temperature steadily increases up to the summer months then drops back down over winter.
This graph shows the average rainfall and the days that had recorded at least some precipitation. As you can see the amount of rainfall is very low, even in the wettest months. Also throughout the year the majority of each month has no rain whatsoever.
